About The Artist
When I was 14 years old I got interested in photography and set up a dark room studio and started to develop my own pictures. After graduating high school I attended the V. Muchina academy of applied art in St. Petersburg Russia for two years. After that I studied at the Pedagogical University of art in Siauliai, Lithuania for 5 years studying to be an art instructor. I graduated with a masters degree in fine art.
After grad school I set up my own art gallery and studio called Ugne in Siauliai Lithuania. In 1994 I came to America with my wife Rasa and two kids. Settling in Chicago, Illinois where I produced and sold ceramics work traveling to art shows around the country as well as working with art galleries through out the united states. My ceramics work has been featured in several magazines including "Ceramics monthly".
I am now showing my photography that I have taken through out the years. I am currently living in Pinellas Park, Florida where I have my art studio. All my photography is reproduced with the best quality printers specially designed for fine art reproductions. I use Archival inks, canvases and papers to ensure the best quality. I believe my work reflects the beauty of things created by nature and man.
